Bill Rambo is executive Director of Confederate Memorial Park at Marbury, Alabama, a state historical site. A reenactor since 1984, Bill has--like Forrest--held every rank from private to general.  Presently Brigadier General comm- anding, Alabama Division of Civil War Re- enactors, Inc., Bill is also Brigadier General commanding, First Brigade, First Confederate Division, part of the North/South Alliance. Despite having seven ancestors in Alabama regiments during the war, including his great- great grandfather Dr. Samuel Rambo, who on January 14, 1861, supervised the raising of the secession flag over the Capitol of Alabama, Bill galvanizes.  "I do it in the interest of history," Bill says.
