Christopher Smith has been a Civil War reenactor for a little over six years.  He is presently 1st Sergeant of the 5th Ohio Volunteer Infantry.   Portraying a general and future president was a first for Chris.  "Milton Bagby
walked up to me with a camera at Perryville and said, 'You look like Garfield.'  He wouldn't go away, so I gave it a shot."

In the 21st Century, Chris is the Director of Sales and Marketing for a video and multimedia production company, as well as webmaster for the Adam Killogg site.  Chris also dons a different blue uniform to serve as the Executive
Officer of a CAP-USAF squadron (he says he only grows a beard when on leave). He and his wife Lori make their home in Akron, Ohio.

Chris will be working on "Gods and Generals", a prequel to the motion picture "Gettysburg", in the Fall of 2001.
