Chuck Warnick has over 18 years of experience in Civil War reenacting. He served as an enlisted man through 1st Sergeant for the 14th Indiana, E Company and as Captain of the 7th Kentucky, A Company. As a trooper in the 7th Illinois Volunteer Cavalry, he learned to drive a six-horse artillery hitch. He is a member of Stone's Kentucky Battery U.S. (Mudsills) and a founding member of the 5th Battery, Indiana Light Artillery. Chuck served four elected terms as Colonel and Field Commander for the Western Brigade. He has also served as the Executive Agent and Secretary-Treasurer for the Western Brigade. Chuck is currently commanding General for the 1st Federal Division.  A commander at many major Western events, large and small, Chuck took an active part in the formation of the North/South Alliance, which he serves currently as co-chairman.
