Tony was born in London, England. He began writing professionally in 1978, penning TV commercials for ad agencies in London, San Francisco and Los Angeles.  In 1986, he wrote, directed and starred in the award-winning short
"Gone West."  Tony is presently writing screenplays and directing again.

"My knowledge of the Civil War was extremely poor until the Killogg project," Tony says. "Growing up in England, the American Civil War was always looked upon as a foolish, self-destructive event which should never have happened. The only reenacting I ever did was as a child with my school chums. We always wanted to be Confederates," Tony says,
laughing at the memory.  "We considered the gray uniforms to be much prettier than the blue ones--based on Hollywood movies, of course."  A Nashville resident, Tony lives on the
flanks of Shy's Hill.
